Ironically I was compelled to create this artwork \u201cRise Above\u201d in January 2020. Intuitively, I felt the need to create something beautiful out of the chaos that had started to grip the world. Bushfires were raging in Australia, with countless families’ homes and livelihoods being destroyed, not to mention the natural habitat of so many defenseless animals being wiped out completely.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To say that it\u2019s been a roller coaster start to not just the year, but the decade is already sounding like a broken record.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

May we all find hope in the little things, and treasure our time we have with our loved ones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Most importantly, please stay safe everyone, be kind, generous and compassionate to those around us, especially those in need.<\/span><\/p>\n
